You could literally hear the "I can't believe I have to say this... there goes my integrity!!!!" desperation in his voice.

Since I'm picking Spence to stop Pacquiao late..... No. However I can't wait to see all of the disingenuous fanboying when he brutally retires the Flyweight Senior Citizen coming off of a two year layoff at 42, acting like it's some ATG accomplishment.

Now its becoming dangerous to fight a Charlo because it's becoming a guaranteed loss without the big money of a Canelo fight. Now i don't think GGG should fight Jermall because of this, A he is good enough to make it close and B, unless he KOES Charlo he will get robbed. The notice has been sent. The Charlo's are officially the new poor mans Canelo.

What is funny, winner of Pac vs Spence will not need to fight vs Crawford to earn big purses.
While Crawford had cried that he might get too low purse vs Spence, now after this he might be happy to get even just 10% purse split vs winner of this fight.
They will not need his belt and he will be huge B side.

:eyebrow2: So Bernstein didn't say that of his free will? He was told to say that through an earpiece? You seriously believe that?

That's what Shadow does now - defends robberies to try and bring weight to the GGG/Canelo draw in fight 1.
Pay no attention to it, he's on this site as a spam bot to drive controversy, resulting in an increase of posts = traffic.

If you've been on here for some time you'll notice these accounts come and go - boxing_master, MVC!, eltirado, IsaL and more.
Wait until a big fight is coming and they come out of the woodwork.

Yeah, I do. It's a pretty well known FACT that producers can tap into their earpieces and give them pointers and direction. That's a well known tried and true method. Vince McMahon has been open about doing that for years in most WWE docus. There's also tons of BTS footage of countless producers directing their anchors or commentators on actual news programs and sports broadcasts. That's literally their ****ing jobs, to produce... and direct.

LOL that's what you say about every decision. We can never debate anything apparently. Every decision always has to be a robbery and that's all there is to it. Bro the fight just happened, there are people who think Castaño won and there are people who think the draw was fair. This is boxing no one has a monopoly over their view of a boxing match. I'm not saying you're wrong m.s., believing Castaño won is perfectly fine with me, but you and many others need to learn how to accept other viewpoints. Your "my way or the highway" mentality is not conducive a boxing forum. We don't have to see everything the same way. You are capable of having your view of a match and still respecting others who see it differently.

We know for a fact that Vince McMahon is in Michael Cole's earpiece, that's a verifiable fact. There was even a Smackdown some years ago that commentary was leaked during a commercial break with him talking to Vince through the earpiece.

But just because that sort of thing happens in WWE doesn't mean that same happens in Boxing. I got news for you, Showtime boxing doesn't have a overarching control freak like Vince McMahon overseeing the show lol. I mean hell we know that Wrestling is actually scripted entertainment. Boxing is not scripted like wrestling. So lets keep it real man, everything that happens in Pro Wrestling doesn't happen in boxing. You can't just believe that a boxing match plays out like a wrestling match. The two are completely different. One is a work and the other is a legitimate sport. Now granted, I'm not saying that there aren't agendas in play in boxing. Maybe that judge who scored it 117-111 for Charlo was corrupt, I can buy that. But that's different than someone being in Bernstein's ear telling him to say that.

    Exactly this.

The 117-111 opens up a debate about the fight being close and open to interpretation etc but the bottom line is THIS FIGHT WAS NOT CLOSE when scoring it

It was competitive for sure, and Charlo is teak tough and a supreme athlete, but he simply didn't win the rounds full stop

Of course Vince is open about it, because pro wrestling is fake and no one will care. But boxing is not, and everyone WOULD CARE if they saw a producer doing the same damn thing. Stop being intellectually dishonest, you know damn well that this **** goes on 24/7. What? Are you now moonlighting as a corporate shill too?

Always has been since his amateur days. To me his a blend of the mindset mentality of Marvelous Marvin Hagler, the body punching ability of the body snatcher Mike McCallum and the fundamental excellent skills set of my hero the Lonestar Cobra and fellow Texan Donald Curry.

There's no way to prove that Bernstein was told to say that, so this is all speculative. Yes, everyone would care if boxing matches were actually rigged. I doubt anyone would care if Bernstein was told to say that by a producer. I just find that far fetched but who knows. Belief is a powerful thing, but no point in fighting over something we can't prove.

My mindset when it comes to boxing is pretty straight forward. I ask myself if the verdict is reasonable, I don't look for red herrings all over the place to convince me that something is rigged. The 117-111, sure that was a bit much, we all agree on this point. I generally go where the facts lead me, and I don't speculate on stuff I can't prove. I watched that fight and I thought it was evenly matched. You see it differently, OK. All we can do to get to the bottom of this is (if you want) to go through some of the key rounds like rounds 5 and 6. That's up to you.

Yeah well... there's no way to prove anything that isn't captured on camera. That's why most people do shady and nefarious things out of the public eye.;)
