    Jose Balderas vs Luis Montellano

    Montellano started well but Balderas took over with some nice single hands, working the jab and also landed a couple of right hands there. Strong finish from Balderas who hurts Montellano twice.

    Both jabbing their way into the round while Balderas landed also a couple of right hands there, also mixign the things up with some body work. Couple of those body shots are a bit too low. Montellano coming forward but gets countered with a big left hook. Balderas landed a couple of heavy hands on Montellanos head and body in the last 30 seconds.

    Montellano isn't bad at all, fast southpaw with decent power but he has two big problems: he is too easy to hit and he isn't accurate, throwing a lot on the gloves of Balderas. Balderas unload some heavy shots on Montellano in the second half, a couple of right hands clean to the head but Montellano still standing like it was nothing. Balderas working the jab to prepare some bigger hands, he is doing this very smart while Montellano trying to brawl at the inside.

    Balderas definitely has some talent, he is very young and has a good working rate/activity, power looks average but he is taking his opponent apart piece by piece with those tons of hands to the body and the head. He also is moving fast in and out. Looks like a decent prospect. Montellano losing his mouthguard after two big shots on his face. Balderas attacking with another big right hand afterwards, Montellano stunned but not hurt. Balderas going for the knockout in the last 20 seconds but he isn't accurate enough to connect clean.
