Money ran out. Saudi buying off anyone with a pulse, Wilder.

Fighters getting too greedy is what is doing it, years ago the bulk never went to the fighter it went elsewhere, but the demands nowadays are killing it sadly, the fighters today do not care about the fighters for tomorrow.

The best thing for boxing would be PBC going to DAZN.

The best thing for boxing would be the resurrection of HBO

Best thing for boxing...could be DANA WHITE. End the senseless ducking every other fight.

It’s simple, boxing has to be under one umbrella, one sanctioning body, one set of rules, etc. the problem is the best fighters would lose their crazy earning potential, but the middle would be elevated and the opportunities would be greater. Plus you have a lot of hands in the pot as is so I’m not sure how it would work to be honest.

Too many fights on ppv now so fighters don't build up enough of a following to actually pay for the ppvs. Unless they are fighting at the very top level, they should be building a fan base on free to air channels.

Boxing just hasn’t been the same since they closed up shop. Kinda sad really. I remember looking forward to a card and would invite friends get bombed outta my mind and have a blast. Let’s Get Ready To Rumble used to give me such a rush lol…

And Larry Merchant love him or hate him had balls and asked some tough questions. If he thought a fight was wrongfully awarded to whoever won he would look the fighter in the eye and tell them lol

The pretenders to HBO's imperium have all fallen by the wayside. Haymon is quickly running out of investor money; Top Rank looks to be finished after their deal with ESPN expires; their erstwhile nemesis Showtime is exiting the fight industry altogether. It's now time for HBO to emerge from the alfalfa farm and seize what belongs to them.

personally i don't care what broadcast station televises the fights. i just want to see the best fight the best. $40 PPV is the same $40 regardless of who publishes it.
