    :huh This tells everyone NOTHING new you realize. For ****'s sake....do we really need another thread on Floyd PPV buys? At least wait for something official before you go blow your wad over the numbers.... Geez... :patsch

    Still not understanding what the point is. Did people think it would do under a million? Or that fights on showtime had not done over a million before or something?

    I have a hard time believing this. None of my casual fan friends watched or ordered it. Showtime might very well be posturing.

    But, if this is the case, which it might be, I think this bodes poorly for boxing. Mayweather making a boatload of money off of an admitted cherry pick will encourage him to continue making poor fights.
