    It was absolutely nothing like Calzaghe-Lacy, Lipinets actually won a few rounds and was competitive throughout, most of the last six rounds Joe should have won 10-8, it was THAT BAD a schooling.

    Lipinets was taking part in just his 14th fight, was taking a huge step up in class against a P4P top 10 ranked fighter who is closer to 5 than he is 10, arguably top 5 even, was 37-0 (30KOs) and a 3 weight world champion and big puncher. How many fighters are taking on P4P top 5 or top 10 ranked opponents in just their 14th fight? How many are making their first defence of their title against one too? I thought he put in a very creditable performance and he's as tough as old boots, but a bit more experience against top 10 ranked guys before taking a fight like this definitely would've stood him in better stead.

    I had Mikey winning 8-4, but Lipinets certainly proved himself to be a quality fighter and is a player at 140.

    I kinda get what he's saying, though. Lipenets might well have benefited from a couple more fights before stepping up to face the likes of Garcia. Not saying he would have won, but the extra seasoning probably wouldn't have hurt.
