Mikey got exposed big time tonight, feed his ass to Lomachenko.

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE **** LOMA WOULD BE GETTING RIGHT NOW if he managed to drop 3 or 4 rounds, and barely win a few others to a former kickboxing 14 fight novice.:qmeparto::qmeparto::qmeparto::qmeparto::qmeparto::qmeparto::qmeparto:

OH MY GOD, Mikey is a ****ing bum and an overrated hypejob. Case Closed.

I'm only into the 5th round of this on DVR (bored outta my skull, what a letdown after the ESPN card) but remind me, how exactly was Barthelemy ever considered elite? I'm not sure he's even the most skilled member of his family.

Well it's the biggest money fight in the division. Guys only fight for one reason; money. And Mikey is an ex Featherweight.

I always thought Lipinets deserved a hell of a lot more credit then he's been given on here. He gave Garcia a much harder fight then Broner did, and he has better skills then people on here gave him credit for as well.

Demtrius Andrade and Rances Barthelemy are the two most confusing cases in recent memory of everybody else agreeing someone is elite and me just being like "...buhhh? :dunno", just completely not on the same page with 99% of the boxing community on our interpretations of the eye test..

Lipinets, who gave a valiant effort...shouldn't have fought a Garcia type fighter yet. He could've tested himself at 140 againt a Postol, Prograis or even Relikh or who ever, gained some experience and would've been more ready for a guy like Garcia. Lipinets has a good jab, and he bloodied the nose of Garcia, but he really didn't have anything to offer after the jab. I like Lipinets, and I feel for him. Maybe im overrating the situation. I don't think that lipinets received a lot of damage, but his psyche might've. I hope not. You can always work with a guy who has a good jab.

Prograis is the biggest threat to Garcia if he stays at 140, but overall 140 is weak and Garcia can unify. But I can also see Imam and Postol giving Garcia a lot of trouble for different reasons.

Garcia need to stay away from 147. He's not big enough and he'd get bullied by the likes of Spence and Porter. Garcia can beat everyone at 135 with the exception of Lomachenko. He'd disrupt Garcia and give him a prolonged beating.

Come on, where are all the detractors?

He lost 3 or 4 rounds to a plodding bum, I'm disappointed in all of you, not one thread throwing off on Mikey.

Relikh absolutely outclassed Barthelemy. It wasn't even a contest.

This is so ugly, I can't even finish watching it. About to fast-forward until the end or just check BoxRec for the result.

Barthelemy is clearing losing (edit: yep Farhood has it a shutout for Relikh at the halfway point), which pleases me, but goddamn, so much holding and flopping and mutually entangled spinning in an endless waltz going on, this is hideous. My eyes hurt.

I just didn't understand when people said that Lipinets was almost like a KO machine. I watched his fight vs Kondo and he was far from it. Well, now it's kind of obvious.

    You serious dude?
This was a good fight that Garcia won. Lip was naturally a bigger guy and Garcia was able to hurt him several times.

Pabon, you non-confrontational pussy, take a point already. You're really scared to offend a guy with a sea anemone tinted a deep shade of "middle-aged bar-fly's urine stream" living on his scalp?

Well no one with exception of a few of his die hard fans thought he stood a chance to see the final bell let alone make it competitive against Mickey Garcia. I'm sure that included his team, Sergey was suppose to be a easy opponent/belt holder for Mikey to win a belt at another weight class. Not almost take 5 rounds off the A side.

Garcia boxed well. I predicted late stoppage but the 1-2 is a thing of beauty. Left hook that dropped Lipinets was timed to perfection.

I do believe if you can take Mikey’s shots at 140, he can be outworked. He’s not too keen on body shots and never really likes it on the inside.

But Lipinets used lots of feints, active guard, his own jab and solid body work to make it competitive. Garcia stilll looked big in there, not conditioned but his shots sounded more solid too.

Nice fight, tactical and technical. 140 is his max though. He isn’t unbeatable at 140, and at 135 I have Lomachenko beating him.

Still a great boxer though. Really subtle things in there, timing early was fantastic.
