Showtime on CBS: Keith Thurman vs. Shawn Porter & Jarrett Hurd vs. Oscar Molina RBR.

Great fight.

Porter screwed himself by fighting with bad strategy at times- he needed to keep it rough and tumble. Boxing off the back foot, letting Keith back him up, and giving Thurman the distance too frequently did him absolutely no favors. He needed to keep it a dogfight once it got there.

 

Good scoring by the judges. I thought they'd blow this one.

 

Porter just seems like an overall good dude.

I feel it should've been a draw and an immediate rematch! ...Actually, rematch anyway!

 

Thurman boxed excellent, he stood his ground when he had to, he moved when he had to, he countered, "effectively", he hurt Porter, he scored cleanly. Someone who had Porter winning explain to me how.

 

Great performance from both guys.

It doesn't ****in matter. People need to get over losses and ****. Porter is obviously a good fighter, but knowing this forum, people will dismiss Porter because of his loss.

Would be delighted to see that fight again. Great fight and both fighters fought really well.
