OMG lol what? Colbert won a UD last time but damn near gets KTFO in the opening minute here.

This is a squash match, dude has no answer - shelling up, sitting on the ropes, getting his bones picked clean.

10-8 Valenzuela, damn near a 10-7 just because.

10-9 CC, good bounce back round, missing hooks but controlling range, scoring rights on the body, turning southpaw and now landing looping lead lefts up top. Valenzuela blew a bit of his wad in the 1st, fairly disorganized in this sophomore round.

10-9 Valenzuela, 29-28 Valenzuela - close, Colbert starting well with crisp southpaw two to four pieces, but Valenzuela is weathering it and setting up hammering right hooks behind the throwaway 1-2. Colbert hurt by body and head shots, backed into a corner. Valenzuela really good at altitude changes on a dime, hurting Colbert to the body and then throwing upward parabola shots that rain down on Colbert as he shells up. Colbert taking right jabs on the face and lefts on the body, looking uncomfortable.

39-37 El Rayo, keeping his prey in retreat or worse - in the corner. Colbert acting tough but belied by his involuntary reactions to every clean shot from Valenzuela. Fake slickness getting exposed here. At one point Colbert spun around and nearly drilled from behind but for Valenzuela's sportsmanlike restraint.

Colbert aggressive to start, stemming Valenzuela's advance with right uppercuts on the body hoping to freeze him up. Valenzuela is willing to give away the first half-minute, coming on like a slow burn, moving side to side, dusting Colbert's head with both hands, sniping the body with right jabs, plugging him in the belly with lefts. Valenzuela clearly the much heavier-handed man and Colbert too fragile to hang with him in heated combat. He also isn't able to smoothly outbox him like he seems to believe he ought to be able to, however. The best Colbert can do is smother in close and even there Valenzuela is touching him up. Colbert's consternation rictus now plastered on.

    10-9, 49-46 Valenzuela

Colbert in the corner looks like he wants to cry.

Valenzuela just kicking his ass. And there's the stoppage, wow. Ripped his jaw off with a right hook, and KO6!

How big a robbery was Colbert vs. Valenzuela I? Or was it just a very different fight?

You didn't have a card ike @drenlou instead you had one exactly like @CST80. :D Those two blown calls, and Farhood's shilling was egregious.

Valenzuela isn't a flawless fighter or anything but he's a full level above Colbert, clearly.

    A pretty bad one...
Note the lack of "close" denotations.

Most had Rayo winning it, although Pinoy had one of his late stage Farhood like nights.

...so, I guess there'll be a rubber match? :nusenuse: (Chris does say "let's run it back, we are 1 and 1")

...and, I guess unlike the first two it won't be on Showtime. :sisi1

    One last Showtime fluff piece.

Oh my god, no, they're showing Nick Charles; they're going to get me bawling at 2am.
