    That's exactly how I saw it. I mean, it put headliners like Devin-Regis (PPV) and Shakur-Edwin, to absolute ****ing shame.

    Why the dislike for Morrell? Unworthy praise, too arrogant, over hyped, all of the above? I think he is a young skilled fighter with a bright future. Exciting to watch. What's not to like?

    All of the above. His ego is clearly getting out of hand, he's beaten no one of note, yet he's this killer that every is supposed to be afraid of. Why exactly? I made a Educate Yourselves thread on the guy a few years ago, obviously I see the talent. But thus far, the resume doesn't merit the level of hype. Does anyone think Falcao and Fox would've made it out of the first or 3rd at the latest against even someone like Caleb Plant? Highly doubtful.

    Points well taken. This seems to be the trend in boxing now. Hype a dude up before they fight any top guys, once the money starts rolling in, protect them as long as possible while still keeping the hype train going.

    I personally don't let the business aspect of it make me dislike a fighter. I think Morrell has the goods and is a force at 168. Hope he doesn't dissapoint.
