I would think it is more likely the idea that neither of the promoters want to sacrifice their cash cow.

Froch, Pascal.....I'd love to see either one.

And the rumor mill goes round & round & round...

Pascal would NOT (actually, cannot) come down to 170-171. This fight is not happening while Bute has business left at 168, David Messier @ Interbox cleared that up pretty swiftly.

 

What's the story with Pascal anyway? Haven't heard much.

They know Bute will end with HBO because of the good relationship between I-Box and Hershman

 

That 3rd and last fight on Showtime for Bute is like smashing an old G/F for the last time before moving on to a hottie.
