Wilder-Fury will be the biggest US Boxing PPV this year. Wilder and Fury will be the main event for the WBC and "Lineal" Heavyweight Championship of the World. And Al Haymon will likely load the undercard with PBC names. Expect to see a Charlo or two. Maybe a Jarrett Hurd. Warren may slot Carl Frampton. Maybe an Adrien Broner. Errol Spence may even get a co-headliner slot. They're all available. It's basically the PBC's first PPV. They've been building toward this for a couple years. They're going to make the most of it.
Because i listen to others? Because i really like sociology studies? Not saying i am better at anything, but i can learn things i have not experienced. I can see history repeat itself on a lot of subjects.
well im trying to teach you about things you have not experienced, and have the knowledge to do it. im not saying you should listen to everyone who is old, there are idiots of all ages, a lot of em... but youre smart enough to recognize when someone is talking from a more informed and thought out position, and should be humble enough to accept it. i am, even though i come across as arrogant, i do recognize when im wrong and im not so insecure that i cant admit it. i understand the position i occupy in the grand scheme of things.
Honestly I don't see it doing that good. Sure on paper it's a decent sell but this is America and neither of them are big names outside the boxing community. Prices are too damn high here and the undercards are usually **** now. Look at how good of a fight Kovalev-Ward was on paper before hand and how low that fight did. You need a big star to sell a lot of PPV.
DAZN owners apparently want to focus solely on building a Netflix type Sports Service. Sports is a intresting one, DAZN will be competing with ESPN, CBS etc for NFL, NBA and College Football rights, rather than the gorilla's of Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter. That is their main aim, and they are backed by Perform Group which is owned by a guy who has shares in Spotify and is a Billionaire worth 20B. If they can get key US Sports Rights that is their aim. Boxing seems like a tickover until something bigger and better arrives for DAZN. Again none of the top Al Haymon fighters will sign with him, so he really ain't got nowhere to breath. His best shot is Joshua-Wilder in Las Vegas and screening it on DAZN
Why are you telling Americans what to buy and watch, you Hearn fanboy. DAZN has rubbish on it, Americans won't tolerate the same crap we get served in the UK. DAZN is essentially the same price as Showtime/HBO and Netflix. Are you saying DAZN and Netflix are worth the same price for a month ? You are a fool and Eddie Hearn is a slippery car salesman, why do you think he's going around the media saying stuff like "it's only 20 cents a day". "It's only $2 a week" cos like you his full of shi* and totally ignorant of how the US Sports Market works
What positives ? All it does is give platforms to uneducated/liberal or mentally ill people. Never mind the fact it is narcissistic to the core. All you see are people taking selfie's and taking pictures of their food or pouting. It is a place where people try to act as if their lives are all rosy and trying to make out my life is better than yours. Never mind the fact, cyber bullying which is linked to Suicide, people trying to replicate celebrities in looks, life etc Social Media is scumholes. The amount of people who talk so bravely on Twitter for example would never replicate that in face-to-face interaction.
Well they are doing it. Confirmation is looking likely. Besides Showtime have to offer Wilder more money, than what Hearn offered which was 5-7M for Whyte or Chisora. The only way Showtime can match or exceed those numbers is through Showtime PPV. So it makes sense. This can get around 500K. IF they promote the hell out of it on CBS, ESPN and get Wilder's Alabama Teams behind him.
And what about all the people who have built businesses through social media? Built relationships? Learned something new? Be inspired by others? I have reaped numerous benefits from using social media platforms. Yes, it has a ton of **** attached to it but there is more to it.
everything you listed would be better served in person. building personal relationships with your customers, your teachers, your muse, is better than the 2 dimensional relationships that replaced that. its a simulation of life.
Well, Facebook is a wonderful thing ... if you like seeing pictures of people’s dogs and babies. So there’s that.
