    http://espn.go.com/blog/dan-rafael/post/_/id/989/showtimes-quadrupleheader-almost-set :deal:happy:happy:happy:happy

Antonio Tarver Vs. Lateef Kayode, 12 rounds IBO Crusierweight title
Peter Quillin Vs. Winky Wright, 10 rounds
Austin Trout Vs. Delvin Rodriguez, 12 rounds WBA " regular  " title
Vusi Malinga Vs. Leo Santa Cruz, 12 rounds, Eliminator

This beats many PPVs. And this is only regular showtime! Props to GBP for risking one of they're best prospects in a tough fight ( Santa Cruz fighting Malinga ) and Risking one of they're top contenders in an evenly matched bout ( Trout vs Rodriguez ), and possibly kill a hyped up and comer verses a veteran ( Kayode vs Tarver ), Quillin-Wright is decent but I think Wright is too far past prime. We'll see.

Who do you got in this badass card!?!?

    I got:

Tarver UD 12 ( 117-112, Tarver down once but outboxes Kayode ), Quillin UD 12 ( 119-109 mostly dominates a faded ATG ), Trout UD 12 ( 116-112, WAR! ) and Draw ( Malinga-Santa Cruz, Hard for me to pick... )

I read about this one today on ESPN.

Showtime really is beating HBO lately. If I had to pick one I would drop HBO in a second.
Showtime just seems to make great fights all the time.

Most interested in Trout-Delvin that should be the Main Event.

I have both, but HBO always has more volume... SHO does have quality just not to often... they don't have big budget so they can't have big fights every 2- 1month like HBO.

**** me though they been good though...

Salido Juanma, Berto Ortiz 2, Mathysse-Soto which was gonna be HBO but HBO preferred to put broner.

Glad to see Delvin get his shot at a title, and the first real exposure for an unbeaten black american world champ in Trout. Good good fight.

Someone explained it well. Showtime is going after the exciting fights. If this continues then maybe Showtime will take HBO over.

The bottom two fights excite me much more than the top two, and those aren't bad. Good card and a major statement by Showtime. I was a little worried about them after thier head of sports programming went to HBO.

Edit: At the Home Depot Center. Hell yeah!! I'm going to this card.

Showtime is the premier boxing network now. HBO better do something about Lampley, Merchant, and fake nose Manny before it is too late. Time to bring in some new blood, I suggest new A-team being Roy, Max, and Brian Kenny.

Yup. . . Showtime doesn't care about "building household fighters". . . THey simply will make the best fights. . .

It seems like they are more in touch with the hardcore fan base in the names and talent they recognize.

Shocked Trout a young undefeated guy would take on some one like Delvin who is just a nightmare of an opponent and not easy to look good against

I like Quillen but i see this as a little bit of a trap fight...he beats Winky..so what...he loses and he looks horrible

Wright is removed and old and all but what if.....these past it guys digging up a time machine effort has happened before
