DeMarco vs Adjaho kickin us off tonight. Crowd looks alright, not a packed house or anything but certainly nice considering the main eventers. Two small ish fighters bringing in a nice house bravo to em.

17-1 9 KOs Anges Adjaho #2 WBC conteender at LW. He looks like a kid who I beat up in HS.

21-1 15 KOs Antonio DeMarco #1 WBC contender at LW. DeMarco looks a little sick to be honest.

 

For those wondering nothing on Gatti or Arguello from what I've seen so far. There's a gigantic Miguel Jackson deal on the mat. A lot of Michael Jackson tributes on the mat. Stuff like "We Are The World" and wehat not.

 

Fight starts with both guys walking around. Crowd booing ONE minute in. DeMarco is just circling and trying to throw a jab. Adjaho has a quickie jab and is using it early. Nobody has landed anything of note. Adjaho has at least thrown something basically. DeMarco not throwing. Crowd booing. Crowd still booing. Another quickie jab from Adjaho. Adjaho barely landing some combinations, nothing too strong. DeMarco apparently just saw footage of Adjaho on Friday and compared him to Ike Quartey. Adjaho landing some more weak combinations. DeMarco isn't doing anything. Taking a nap but a straight left from DeMarco buckles Adjaho. Adjaho recovers from the round ends.

Adjaho threw more but didn't land anything important. DeMarco landed the only punch of note...probably the only punch he threw.

I wish I could give a round 9-9. 10-10 for both guys.

 

Crowd booing 30 seconds into round 2. For ****s sake guys. Both fighters trade straight rights but neither one is significant. Adjaho misses a jab and looks to be back to his round 1 tactic of just throwing to get points. DeMarco looks unusually gangly tonight. DeMarco is not throwing anything. Jab to the body for Adjaho at the 1:05 mark. Adjaho snapping the jab now. DeMarco misses a jab of his own. Right to the body misses for DeMarco. Crowd booing AGAIN. Come on fellas. Adjaho lands his a right hook to the shoulder. Adjaho looks cautious of the power and is using his reach well. DeMarco JUST not letting his hands go.

10-9 for Adjaho as the boo birds are alive and well.

DeMarco comes out and takes another jab or two to open the round up. Adjaho eats a straight right from DeMarco but returns his own with more OOMPH. DeMarco and Adjaho starting to get cooking now. Adjaho getting a little wild and perhaps DeMarco firing back has him a little bit more willing to engage. DeMarco is trying for a 1-2 basically. Nothing but the 1-2. DeMarco closing the distance and firing the 1-2 but Adjaho hasn't gotten caught with anything heavy yet. Adjaho's right hand has been very good so far. DeMarco continuing to try to find his 1-2 but nothing doing. Straight right to the body lands twice for Adjaho. DeMarco looks like he's either sick or put off by how awkward Adjaho is. Adjaho wins another round.
