Darchinyan's feet are looking clumsy. His eye is puffy. His hands are low. Agbeko too is fatigued, but still spending lots of energy with unnecessary upper body movement when Vic is nowhere even near him. When Vic does come in he's landing jabs and lefts at will. Very slow paced round relatively. Pattern developing in last minute...Darch charges in, Agbeko ducks, and Darch slaps his back while Joseph slaps his body in return. Darch rediscovers the short uppercut with 36 seconds left. Best punch of the round. Darch standing in front of Agbeko and boxing, pawing the jab and occasionally following with a left that finds a home. They blast away down the stretch Darchinyan round. He needed one. Actually, he may need a KO now.
Darch landing some monster left hands but Agbeko is walking through it. Great round for Darch. Agbeko 5-4 (86-85 Vic with KD in the 7th).
Agbeko giving one of the most generic repititive performances this decade. Doing quite nicely with it as well.
Who Vic? The only thing sloppy now is that his hands are low. Ironically, yeah, he's having more luck landing 1-2s from this stance. His punch execution has actually improved, he's being more selective and accuracy has been his reward. Eighth round. Vic's eye bleeding. Headbutt from Agbeko - intentional says Vic. Maybe? Need to see replay. In any event, he shoves Kong to the ground. Ref wags his finger. Last minute sees Vic bouncing off the ropes and flying back at Agbeko wailing with lefts, taking punishment while coming in but scoring. Vic's face a crimson mask now. Fight could get stopped on this cut. Darch majorly aggressive. Somewhat effective. Agbeko making him pay for all his successes though. Darchinyan round by a small margin.
