Showtime rejects Ward vs. Dawson

i know it'll be a chess match. i love chess. i get that most don't have the patience, understanding or attention span for a chess match. i want to see this fight.

Chad doesn't really get loose until the 7-8th round. He needs to take more chances or improve the conditioning.

Letting fights simmer is the discretion of the promotors and fighters, not the ****ing networks.

If you have a super fight between 168 Champ and 175 Champ and you turn it down as a network, you aren't worth a ****. Period.

Whoever is the new head of Showtime needs to be fired. making fights like this is what would put Showtime on top of HBO for good in having consistantly, the better and high profile fights.

 

I do not agree with the assesment of this being a snoozer, actually I am fed up withis sort of nonsensical posts and threads about strategical fighters and fights being boring. However, I am glad that Ward is not taking the bait and going up to 175 pounds to fight Chad cause he would be foolish and Chad can't possibly come down to 168 pounds wit that size. That being said, good that Showtime rejects and I hope HBO does the same. let Ward fight SMWs and Chad LHWs or above that weight class.
