Younan is plugging rights on the body and bopping Ellis on the side of the head with a left hook on the pivot. Ellis is jabbing steadily and rolling his neck & shoulders around the center line, keeping a low base, in constant serpentine motion. Ellis is scoring every third jab and using the majority just to measure and dial in his aim. Younan showing nice slippery defense with the hands-down stance.

Younan is attacking in two-shot bursts, loading up on big chopping rights and left hooks and then giving Ellis lots of space. Younan standing off at range for long stretches. Ellis is looking to counter but not getting off in time. Younan missing or clapping his shots against the nape of Ellis' neck for the most part. Neither landing cleanly. Ugly staccato action. Younan picks off a couple of probing jabs on his wrists and tags Ellis with a light hook off the ropes.

I'm guessing when he chose the nickname "Flatline" it was meant to convey Ellis was a KO threat but really I think it fits his baseline fight condition EKG reading.

 

Round 5 Ellis close, reaching Younan with the 1-2 as the artificial redhead languishes in the corner. Ellis also winging big hooks and missing or just scraping the chest. Younan has switched off the faucet offensively.
