    Round 3

Valero doing his thing, Demarco doing his thing. Valero throws a lot of punches, Demarco countering occasionally and landing good punches. valero lands a nice left hand and Demarco weathers it. Valero lets his hands go and Demarco is still calm. Demarco needs to throw more punches as Valero is landing his left with ease. Demarco with a swift right hand counter and Valero weathers it. Valero lands a nice left hand and followes up with another. Demarco EXPLODES with a right hand and does a good job backing Valero up. Valero is starting to slow down and we get a mini pose off before Valero lands a nice right hand. Valero chases Demarco with a body shot but nothing doing. Demarco on the ropes as Valero throws wide body shots as the round ends. Valero wins a good round.

    29-27 Valero, 2-0-1

Reminds me of the Barrera-Khan fight in a way. Why aren't they pushing for a NC stoppage?!!!

But DeMarco runs the risk of losing a technical decision if he does this and the fight is stopped.

Round 3: Demarco not throwing much. Just looking to block a lot of shots and tire out Valero. He lands a couple good power shots, but Valero landing the higher volume of punches. And landing with some power, but Demarco taking the shots well.

Is DeMarco's gameplan to just stand there?

Round 4 now. Valero has Demarco on the ropes and just missed a dangerous right hand. Demarco with a strong jab but Valero walks through it. Pattern remains the same. Valero throws a lot of punches on the ropes and STUNS Demarco. Demarco abandons the gameplan and comes forward now. Now he's stalking Valero. He lands some good jabs but Valero is too active. Too many punches right now for Tony. Valero misses a wild combination but they're flashy and they make a good sound when they DO land. Valero lands a combination and Demarco misses a 1-2.. Valero is dropping his hands now and his mouth is open. Valero has the proverbial crimson mask as the 10 second mark hits. Valero and Demarco trade lefts as the round ends. Another Valero round but Demarco is slowly coming forward and doing something new.

    39-36 for Valero.

    Round 4

On cue, DeMarco begins to throw jabs, solo and with right hand escorts, no longer waiting for Valero to be first. Valero still throwing rapid-fire combinations of straight punches. A couple of big left hands pound DeMarco into the corner, he manages to duck and slip away and purchase some space. Valero throws from the hip and misses a jab, a left hand, and then lands a jab that snaps DeMarco's head back. DeMarco expressionless, still undaunted. Valero has energy to spare, not tiring any time soon (which may be what Tony's waiting for).

At this point, if it's stopped anytime soon it will be a TD for Valero. He's swept four so far.

He's gonna test Edwin's stamina. Dude's already tired. Let's see if he swims or drowns.

Valero had his mouth open the entire round. It's no wonder he lost his mouthpiece in the prior round.

Round 4: Demarco opening up his offense a lot more now. He's resorting a little to brawling now. Valero outboxes him this round despite having the huge cut on his forehead. Valero had him on the ropes for a couple seconds and landed some hard shots once again. Valero has won all 4 rounds on my card.
