Valero is wayyyyy better than I thought.

 

Round 8

DeMarco gets a jab in. Valero opens a round cautiously for the first time. He's actually on the defensive. DeMarco lands a right hand. Another. Valero catches him with a left before a third can land. DeMarco still pressing the action. Uppercut catches just the very tip of Valero's chin as he pulls back. Valero lands some big left hands that halt the pressure of DeMarco momentarily. Valero triples the left hand, varying his placement - chin, chest, throat. DeMarco looking a little rubbery in the legs. Low blows Valero. He throws a lunging combination at the bell, both punches miss and the momentum drags him toward the ropes from almost center ring.

Demarco looks totally disheartened

 

Uh oh. Demarco looks like he's about to pass out in the corner.

 

Demarco came out strong that round, but then Valero ****ed him up.

 

It seems that Demarco wants to quit now.

 

Great movement there at the end from Valero, my money be safe after all. DeMarco looking worn now and eating shots.

 

uh oh, corners lookin to stop it.

 

was it just me or did demarco contemplate quitting?

Round 8: Demarco comes out more aggressive but the result is the same -- Valero is too fast and is boxing too well for Demarco to handle. Demarco looking very tired in the corner and is looking like he's ready to go. Another round for Valero in this shutout.

 

Another round for Valero, amazing output from him. DeMarco starting to look gassed, mouth was hanging in that round, I can see a late stoppage here. Still, great beard on the Mexican, that's not in question. 79-72 Valero.

 

Demarco looks more winded than Valero!:shock:
