Kid still short of breath 5 minutes later. I think he better goes to the hospital. there is something wrong with that kid. Interview was done with the corner holding him.

He looked like he was about to pass out in the corner in the round prior and didn't respond when they asked him how he felt. His head was bobbing around like he couldn't keep it still and looked awful. The corner waved it off before he even sat on the stool.

Valero looks like he could have breezed through all three championship rounds, taken a catnap, and started another twelve rounder an hour later.

DeMarco looks beat (in both senses of the word) - like he got...well...lost in the supermarket. And desperately wants his mommy. :yep

WTF, you just said Demarco was nothing special?

JMM/Valero might be like JMM/Pac exept this time JMM might get the well -deserved W!

Valero vs Katsidis would probably be an outstanding slugfest.

This was the first time I've ever seen Valero fight and he's made a believer out of me. After reading and hearing about him for so long as being just a power punching slugger. He surprised and impressed me with his overall boxing performance and skillz (slipping, turning, fainting, etc). Valero seems to be the goods folks. I can also see how Valero can be compared to Pacquao. They do fight in similar fashions. Hopefully down the road in the future this fight takes place....Could make for some fire works and great night of boxing.

There was a reason for that. When he threw.. Valero countered him with 3-4 punches. Demarco could of threw more but he would of got hit more. He got out boxed basically. And Demarco is a good boxer. Kind of hard to get momentum when your punches aint landing and your getting hit in the face 4-5 times afterwards.

how bad was valero's cut at the end? from the first couple of rounds it sounded as if it could get stopped. i'm guessing his cut man did a kick ass job?

how long is it likely to keep him out for?

 He looked like a kid who got caught shoplifting and they were CALLING his mom.

DeMarco had the look of a guy who couldn't figure out how to adapt in the middle of a fight. Absolutely lost.

Props to DeMarco as well, as he has a granite chin. Hope he can shake this fight off and get back to form soon. But make no mistake, Valero is a force to be reckoned with.
