Valero showed the difference between a man and boy. He never quit. He was just relentless. DeMarco was disappointing from the get-go. No offense, lacked character, and heart. Valero reminded me of Vic, but, more vicious. DeMarco had no stamina, and was just overwhelmed by Valero. What a performance. Even with the deep cut on the side of his forehead, the guy kept coming at DeMarco like a pitbull. Amazing.

Very good matchup but your getting a little too excited there. I think Marquez would take advantage of that low guard. Would be intresting though if Marquez hasnt slipped id make him a favorite maybe 7 or 8 to 5.

:patsch Man Valero could punch! Even the greatest punchers dont knock every one unconscious. Demarco has a helluva Chin.
I think Valero was impressive just got to tighten his guard up against a Counterpuncher like Marquez but i was still impressed the way he slipped punches. Valero also has a chin, Demarco is a good puncher and although he was dominated he still landed a few big punches on Valero and it didnt phase him.
Freitas could punch WTF you talking about?

what the **** was demarco thinking.

he seemed to connect with the majority of the punches he threw but just didn't let his hands go very often.

You can't be basing this on his performance against a far larger Floyd. But if you're right then Valero will take him out. Hope you're wrong.

EXACTLY. He connected great counters on Valero and his jab landed at will but he wouldn't throw it. I think maybe he was a little too slow.

I don't think JMM is shot but I think he's lost a tic or two and he was never really a lightweight, let alone a light welter or welterweight and yet I think the skill level allowed him to overcome against Diaz when he really didn't belong there.

Throwing under pressure is only easy in theory.

JMM went life and death with Juan Diaz who got his ass kicked by a cross dresser with pillows for fists.

Wow. If Freitas wasn't heavy-handed as hell, he must have been the luckiest sonovabish on the planet. Thanks for drawing my attention to that comment. I needed that.
