    valero very tentative. demarco lands a few jabs and a left. valero firing a few combo's that all miss. demarco very slippery, impressive! valero landed a nice left that definitely caught demarco's attention. close round that i'll give to demarco.

    Round 1

    Valero comes out and Demarco is on the ropes. Demarco moves, Valero comes forward. Valero tries a punch and nothing. Demarco with a quick counter as Valero comes forward. Valero claims he only watched two hours of tape on Demarco. If so he deserves to lose. Valero coming forward on Demarco and throws a quick combo on the ropes. Valero lands and Demarco is calm. Demarco throws a piston jab and Valero is cut open. Valero lets his hands go and catches DeMarco with maybe one out of five punches. Valero jabbing and grinning ashe comes forward. Demarco is very calm and looks set to fight his fight. Valero lands a nice 1-2 which Demarco weathers. Demarco's jab is beautiful when it lands. Valero gets wild and misses three punches. Valero lands a flush left and Demarco handles it.Demarco is very calm and using some beautiful head movement. Demarco just misses a counter right as the round ends. I'd say Valero wins that round.

    DeMarco not as calm now that Valero's hands are flying. Valero working behind a jab, but throwing it from down the street. DeMarco taking it as it comes, occasionally stepping back to give his own jab room to extend.

    Valero was not terribly accurate but far more active. He had DeMarco backing up most of the round.
