The 2 great and entertaining high skill level fights last
night on Showtime made the lackluster crude fights on
HBO completely irrelavant. It was like a FNF vs a top level
PPV. Showtime KO 1 HBO on 11/10/12

As is usually the case. HBO is focused on building stars to put on HBO pay per view.

Showtime is about presenting entertaining fights with tons of great undercards.

The Donaire-Arce and Rigo-Poon card is going to be fantastic.

Not to mention Broner-Demarco next week, Guerrero Berto the week after, then Pac-Marquez 4 the week after that.

HBO's year end schedule is going to be packed with good fights.

Showtime has def put on some good fights but something about their commentary I just find to be sub par compared to hbo

I personally enjoy fights broadcasted on hbo better. Hope GB goes back soon

You might think so... But With Strikeforce dying in Jan of 2013.
Looks like Mauro will be the voice of SHO from now on.
