I said Gvozdyk would win this fight before it was made because Stevenson was 41 and he looked awful in his last fight. Honestly I thought it would end before 10. I'm surprised Stevenson did so well and took so many rounds.

 

The Nail would have knocked out Dawson and Stevenson on the same night. The Nail has a durable chin

 

Yeah, I doubted his chin but he passed the test tonight against one of the biggest punchers in boxing.

 

Stevenson old, tired and missing the power and sharpness he once had. Gvozdyk beat a faded champ, period.

 

I predicted Gvozdyk to hammer Stevenson...So wasn't super impressed. Ok but not top dog

Absolutely. Like Monzon (and plenty others), there's a clear disconnect between the respect they earn between the ropes and what they earn outside of it.

Proved what? That a SMW would give him major issues? LMAO. Everyone expected Stevenson to kill him yet he got a generous draw. Young 41 LMAO. FOH. Everyone knew Stevenson was shot and old. Dude got almost killed by Jack from rounds 6-12. Those rounds weren't even competitive. Only thing Stevenson proved in that fight is he can fight for 6 rounds.

 

Gvozdyk sent Stevenson's ass to Krypton.

I disagree, Stevenson was the same as always. An explosive fighter who fights in bursts, gets tired easily because of his power. He looked sharp when Gvozdyk let him off the hook for a breather, and when he caught Gvozdyk he was clearly the more energetic fighter. At no point did Stevenson look sluggish and not dangerous. Stevenson isn’t shot at all, don’t be deceived by his age.
