    The thing is I missed the nail's last 2 performances, apparently he looked dog **** in it. I've never seen him lose a round before that besides the KD against Karpency.

    Stylistically though Chilemba is the ideal opponent for Gvozdyk, he doesn't have the power to trouble Gvozdyk and his spoiling tactics don't work against someone with the excellent straight shots, power, and footwork of Gvozdyk.

    Gvozdyk is really good at some things and not so good at others, which is why style is key when he fights. His long straight right, and his jab, and his footwork are all A++ (bear in mind he's the biggest (longest) elite LHW), but his chin is only decent and his defensive instincts are not particularly good.

    Adonis is about as well preserved 41 y/o fighter as you'll ever come across. He had a short amateur career (38 fights), 31 fights as a pro, so that's only 69 fights combined am and pro, hardly been involved in any wars, and he's fought poor opposition for the most part. He's still got his speed and his power and that left hand of his is still as dangerous a punch as you'll find in world boxing.

    Well preserved as far as not taking damage, sure. Last fight, he had gas for four rounds, his timing and everything was off, he looked extremely rusty. He showed heart, and was lucky that Jack had a glass tummy.

    He'd only fought 9 rounds in 3 years going into that one and Jack's the best opponent he's fought in the last 5 years and one of the best he's ever faced. I had Adonis winning that one as well.

    All of the above, plus the fact that at is Teddy Atlas and not Anatoly Lomachenko training Gvozdyk, is why I bottled out of putting any money down on The Nail. :lol:
