Showtime threaten legal action against Ward & Dirrell

The Super 6 has been good for boxing and has made Dirrell and Ward. For them to disgrace all that, is absolutely pathetic. Even if the fight goes on, it doesn't matter. The damage is done because Showtime won't want another Super 6. HBO will look at this ness and say the same.

This is some serious bull**** (if true). What possible reason could they have for not fighting each other? This is easily as bad as the nonsense Floyd's been pulling off with Pacquiao.

If these two pricks do weasel out of this fight, then my respect for them will go down the drain forever. I hope Showtime seriously f*ck them over with a law suit, and that they never see a decent pay day again.

Froch & Abrahammer only argued about the venue but both are warriors and made their fight.

Ward is more to blame them Dirrell; he wants all the advantages. He has had too many home fights and aassistance as it is already.

 

I believe it's more Goosen than Ward. The promoters always moving a fighter trying to get the most money out of them. Goosen should lose his license if this goes down. On contract, the venue was set and agreed to upon the start of the tournament. It was well known, all of Ward's fights were to be in Oakland, so that's on Shaw and Dirrell for protesting at the last second. Ward recently did agree to move to a neutral location like Vegas, but I think Goosen may have refused-(he has as much a vested intrest in Ward winning as Ward does). Either way, Showtime should've stepped down on these guys a month ago. I think the reason we're not hearing much from the fighters or promoters right now is that the legal threats are taking place.
