there won't be a ring champ until Kessler or whoever is number 1 fights Bute.

I can see Froch being stripped at some point and Pavlik picking up the vacant title.

Whoever wins the tournement will have two mega fights with Bute and Pavlik. Its the hottest division in boxing right now because the best our fighting the best.

I just hope one of the boxers wins a world title(s) (WBC/WBA) during the early stages of the toune, then decides to leave and ****s him the whole lineal side of things.

Its far from a "given" that a lineal champ will come out of this tournamant.

This is gonna be class !
Never realised that Froch is that big actually.
Loved that fist pic..... Kessler and Froch look set to tear it up there and then and Abraham thinking "**** me I wish that chicken **** Pavlik would fight FFS, what am I doing here these guys are huge !!"

Is it just me who thinks that this has the potential to become very boring?

Once a Ring Magazine champion is established I don't think many people will be too bothered about a fight between 2 guys coming of defeats as will happen at one point.

If its in germany unless showtime gets there own judges, own ref. There's no way JT is winning unless he knocks out AA. The number of dubious decisions in Germany is ridicolous!!!

Still can't believe this will happen. Its not over a few nights is it? Its a load of solid one off bouts isn't it?

I agree you could end up with some pointless fights towards the end of the first phase.

Apparently he can make 168 easy, was even talking about moving down to 160 a while back.

I'm with you, I've only seen Arthur a few times but he seems quite pedestrian.

I do enjoy your posts, Rob. There's no way Taylor beats Abraham though - he's too tough, has fast hands and, after round 4 or five will time Taylor

Style wise Taylor is a very difficult fight for Abraham - who can't win on points, IMO.
