Eubank said before the Sammy Storey fight that the ammount of weight he puts on between weigh-in and fight depends on his fight tactics. He was coming in 'light' for Storey, under 175! He said he came in heavy and sluggish around 182 in his previous two fights and against Benn at Old Trafford because he was fighting for stoppages, but now wanted to get back to his mobile sharpness; like he was against hands-up fighters Malinga, Jarvis, Thornton, Holmes, Rocchigiani and Close the first time.

Eubank didn't get on with anyone, especially promoters! Even Barry Hearn he fell out with in the end. There was genuine hate between him and Duff and him and Maloney. He even refused to work with Bob Arum because, 'He told me after the last time I fought in America that he was only interested in potential world champions, then I do his boy Benn for the title and he wants some. I'm not like the others, I have principle.'
He even fell out with his wife as well. A friend of a friend who lived in Brighton said that his girlfriend told him that Eubank tried to come on to her as she was walking down the street one time. This was way back when he was supposedly a happily married man too.
