I'm not even DVR'ing the piece of crap (got WEC recording, and it's set up so you can only record one thing and flip channels, or record two things and you're stuck on those two. So I'm bouncing between HBO and Showtime while they blab/interview). :bart

The thing is, any round a judge gave Zappa, there's no way they can say it was a dominant round. The first four he basically just wasn't confronted with any consistent offense from Angulo, and even those couple of close later rounds were just that - very close.

The handful (almost half dozen, actually) of clear Angulo rounds were dominant. He bullied Zappa.

I know that doesn't matter when scoring on the ten-point must system, the "degree" to which one wins the round - a won round is a won round on paper and that's that - but either way you slice it, Angulo won more (or at least no fewer) rounds on clean effective punching, effective aggressiveness, ring generalship and defense (yes his defense was actually better than Zappa's...) AND from a more subjective "who won the fight" viewpoint.

    Yet he's got an L.

Bart vs Darbedyan was a great fight while it lasted. You're gonna love it.

And to back you up, Abraham is more popular with German fans. I think they've adopted him ala Andrade-Canada.

Round 1 starts and Vic is already jabbing. Guerrero throws a hook that goes nowhjere. Darchinyan looks very composed as he misses a jab. Guerrero steps n Vic's foot and nearly falls over. Guerrero trying to jab, Vic looking very calm. Vic lands a decent hook but nothing doing. Guerrero looks very clam and pops Vic with a nasty hook and then follows with a hook. Guerrero and Vicx trade and Vic lands a GREAT uppercut that backs guerrero off momentarily. Both guys brawl near the ropes and Guerrero looked very good during that little exchange. Guerrero is not scared and Vic LOVES this kind of pace. 1 min left now as Darchinyan comes forward. Guerrero looks composed still but he's leaping in with that hook. Darchinyan beginning to bounce and come forward anrily against Guerrero. Darchinyan with 30 seconds and MISSED a right hand. Darchinyan lands a straight right as he leaps in. 10 seconds left as the pace has slowed a bit. A double right hand by Vic takes the round as the two men flurry.

    10-9 Vic
