retire him.. dang man if he loses he might fight again.
and i doubt hes gunna get annihilated to the point where hes forced to retire.

hes gunna take a much more smarter approach.
hes not gunna go in there reckless like he did vs murat.
if he plays around like that in there wit shumenov it might not work out for b hop

b hop has a great chance to still win i believe.
the guy is a such a legend and never gets beat up
he always competes no matter what.

its hard to pick who wins .. if b hop was a couple yrs younger then he beat shumenov n doubt. but i seen his old age vs murat more then ever.
and shumenov isnt any where as good as b hop but its just the whole age thing.

Shumenov will win the fight if he doesn't hold back and just lets his hands go.

Hopkins is at an age were he can't throw and land good, accurate punches any more. he looks sluggish out there. the only thing that keeps his op from throwing back at him is the thought of Bernard doing another master-class on them. he's far too long in the tooth to be putting on those kind of performances.

just go out there and beat him up. Bernard will eventually fall apart.

i'm going for Shumenov to win. he isn't the kind of guy to fall into Barnard's plan of not throwing.

hopkins will be able to foul at will. shumenov will get warned, and probably points deducted, for nothing.

True, it's actually a designation not specifically determined by geography, but this is a boxing forum..

Hopkins doesn't intentionally rabbit punch his opponents like the majority of English and European boxers are accustomed to do.
In his last fight, it was Murat who did all the fouling.

both guys waiting to counter = boring fight.

    with that said, it's a 50-50 fight.

You must mean like Hopkins-Pavlik or Hopkins-Pascal, right?

shumenov fights at a slower pace than those 2 and always waits to counter.

between the 2, the one that takes the lead/pushes the fight will lose.

I fully expect for BHOP to take the initiative in this fight.
I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him in offensive mode after round 2.
Since he's at the end, he may call out the Hopkins of old.

Didn't BHOP lose his 1st fight at LHW?
If so, it's pretty cool that he is ending his career trying to unify the titles where he began.

I think the judges just turned in their scorecards. Wide UD for Hopkins...

That's not gonna happen. Shumenov is okay-ish and that's about it. He won't win more than 2 rounds.
