I'm glad he's fighting and am particularly glad that it is less than one month away. It's not as though he scheduled this fight for August or September. For less than 30 days, I'll take it. Not a good defense of the title by any means, but once again, being that he has only been in 13 pro fights, this is what I expect and is nothing out of the ordinary in today's boxing landscape.
its not even on boxrec as being scheduled considering he hasnt fought in a year, its a crap fight times 10 being his last 2 opponents were danny santiago and william joppy . his "13 fights" as an excuse doesnt do much for any argument when he has been a pro since 2007 . at this rate he wont ever get to 20 fights. his management must be screwing this guy big time
This is a joke. Ornelas doesn't merit a chance at a title. Shumenov deosn't seem to look for the best challenge nowadays.
