Shun Kubo vs Daniel Roman

Pace picking up in round 2, Kubo landing the better shots but Roman upping the pace. Great body shot from Kubo, Roman trying to snatch the body, Kubo going back downstairs, nice round by both, but Kubo moves 2-0 up...just

Pace continues hot in round 3, Roman is eating counter left hands as he comes in but takes them well, Kubo tagged and goes on the retreat, Roman having more success. Body shots from both, heavy shots from both with Roman getting the better of it, really good round for the challenger.

 

Roman's pressure is incessant and Kubo doesn't like it, he's trying to go to the body and slow the American but can't discourage him, another big round for Roman 2-2

 

Roman again gets into the pocket, Kubo lining up left hands and standing his ground a bit more, Kubo does look more settled here and Roman less aggressive than he was the last 2 rounds,

Roman again bringing the heat but it does seem less hot. Kubo landing left hands regularly but Roman walks through them, Kubo was rocked and clearly hurt late. Huge finish for Roman. Kubo unhappy walking to his corner

 

Roman smells blood and jumps on him, big start by Roman, Kubo staggered...and down...up at 8...Roman back on him, he's firing back, Roman won't leave him, Roman just walking through him, Kubo somehow staying up and firing back! All guts from the champion, Roman getting wild, huge applauds as Kubo tries to turn it around. 10-8 round...but amazing round
