Hell yeah. Ricardo gets a chance to fight for Renzo against Hughes. I hope he's adapted better to MMA by now. His pure jiujitsu skills were always fantastic.

actually i feel Guida sometimes abandons his strength (his ground game) for the sake of pleasing the fans, **** just watch the Sanchez fight.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing, he can't risk another Silva clown act.

Nuke has a point though. Nearly every time Guida wins a fight its by getting takedowns, staying in another guys guard, placing his head on your chest and hair in your face, never trying to pass guard and throwing light GNP punches without looking for any type of finish. The most exicting fights hes had Griffin, KenFlo, Sanchez or Huerta usually he was getting his ass kicked and just swingly his terrible punches back and rarely landing. Tough guy no doubt but he has almost no skill whatsoever. All this said him fighting Dos Anjos is a forumla for a great fight.

That's dummy talk. Guida might have weak stand up, gnp, and submission game, but you can't deny that he's an extremely talented grappler. Few people have ever taken and held down the likes of Tyson Griffin and Diego Sanchez the way that Clay has and I've never seen anyone rock Roger Huerta the way Clay did before he got caught. I mean his drive, stamina, and toughness are unquestionable, but those attributes alone don't win fights in the UFC. Put it this way, you don't beat the likes of Josh Thompson, Nate Diaz, Marcus Aurelio, and Mac Danzig while possessing "almost no skill whatsoever".

Hes a good offensive wrestler and thats where his skill ends. As for holding down Sanchez are you serious ? Is it really all that great holding a guy down whos beating the **** out of you with elbows and attempting submission after submission ?
