I keep reading it n reading it and reading it!!! What does flloyd mayweather have to do to earn respect!! He is UNDEFEATED!!! Has beaten, JMM, De la hoya, Hatton, judah, corrales, castillo, manfredy and a buch of others. The man is defencie genious, never takes more than a few flush shots a fight over 12 rounds and gets more critism than praise in all circles. WHY??? Cos he picks marque fights in stead of fighting mandatorys or people who cant draw. He has earned that right!! people forget which that say that he dont fight natural welters. Thet guy was a super feather only a few years ago, so whats his natural weight?? If he beats a bigger guy - they were over the hill!!! If he beats a amaller guy - to small for him!!! Pac man would not stand a chance, mosely wouldnt either. People forget when they talk about they legends like Sugar ray leonard or ray robinson that they actually lost. Mayweather hasnt lost and does look like losing knowmatter who he fights. You do have to have the heart of a lion or go toe to toe to be great!!! Just because he has a relutance to engage!! In 30 -40 years time even the haters will be takin about how good he was and WILL be up there with the best of all time!!!
u can't be serious that if floyd beats shane easy everything will be ok lol...people will say **** no matter what...the TS is right...he takes fights that make money and he Doesn't just win them ...he DOMINATES them...that is like saying until pac beats a prime fighter he is a *****...just stupid...it is subjective...floyd has beat every style and 17 world champions
Yeah, i'm pretty sick of it too. It's interesting, before the Marquez fight I was more disgusted by hte nut-huggers, now i'm more disgusted by the haters. But all you guys got problems.
Fact is.... Cotto and Mosley are the most dangerous fighters Mayweather would have ever faced, and people want to see him fight them, being 'number 1' and all, i dont think thats too much to ask.
trust me he will not retire undeafeted...if he starts to fight top welters he will lose... remember that
nah he wont - their will always be haters!! and if he fights and beats even a hand full of those names more names will appear. clottey - dont make me laugh Cotto - fair enough - even one wants to see that fight Mosley if he was undefeated but he has lost so many times ( it will likely happen though due to him GB sticking their nose into post fight interview ). But when PBF wins you lot will say """ over the hill""" Margarito - tainted over rated cheat- Mayweather could do what mosley did but only better. No reason for that fight to happen Williams puts people to sleep and floyd would have to move up again as no way williams could make welter now -
haters, fanboys....every fighter's got em. it is excessive with floyd but that comes with being the best. and the most famous
Look, the whole "he's not a natural welter himself" **** is getting lame now that he's failing to even make 144 and being all mysterious about his in-the-ring weight. The bottom line on that is that if a guy isn't able to come down to 140, he's a welterweight. If that's not the case, then mayweather in fact didn't fight a bigger guy in DLH at all, no, he fought a fellow-former 130-pounder, which would be an unjust claim. As for the level of his opposition, well, it's not that he's not fighting good opponents, it's that his opponents, while very good, are not the absolutely best opponents available to him. He stopped fighting the very best available after the Castillo fights, i see no way around that. The bottom line is that Mayweather is one of the top-5 defensive fighters ever imo and the best pure boxer of his time, but he has i think the potential to claim undeniable status as the greatest fighter of his time and he hasn't been fulfilling it so far. He could remedy that by first beating Mosley and then beating the Pac-Cotto winner. He gets those 2 wins and he's there imo as the undisputable #1 of his time. I'll keep my fingers crossed, against my better judgement.
Floyd needs to stop crying and make the fights whit the top guys, just like Chavez, Whitaker, Trinidad, Vargas, etcccc did.
i have recently begun to really appreciate the greatness of floyd jr. and i think he is actually very good for the sport of boxing. you may not like him because of his trash talking but i think his persona brings a little bit of needed brashness to the sport. the thing is this, he may talk alot and overbearing at times but the man sure can back it up. name me one fighter today at his level who is undefeated and has won as many championships as he has?
i feel that america should unite as one and stone floyd to death on pay per view whoz with me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
