"Good post, Sues. It was a close fight. JMM fans are going to cry robbery, and OK. But those of us who stand in the middle undertand that either man could have won. I actually scored this bout for Marquez, but a score in favor of Manny is hardly a robbery. It's not even a bad decision." Exactly right. I am shocked that my 114-113 score for Pacquiao is in the minority. But regardless, it was a very close fight. One imposed on the other physically, the other was the master boxer. Was I too impressed with the knockdown?? Maybe, but I have seen robberies before and THIS IS NOT A ROBBERY.
Why can't the guy win a SD? Just because his a knockout artist doesn't mean he can't win by a decision. There was no robbery to that. Marquez got countered back some times and payed the price for being confident on the 3rd round. It was a great breath taking fight, give props to them.

Who knows what any three judges would have scored this.. but Pacquiao, Marquez or Draw, the decision would not have been a robery.
THis "robbery" business is getting out of hand but it's understandable. IMO this was a close but convicing win for JMM. Pretty much the way Morales/Pac 1 was a close but convincing win for El Terrible, except the judges got it right in that case.
Sure there have been more egregious cases. The simple fact is though, Manny "won" a fight tonight that at best, he drew. In my book, that's a robbery.
Wrong, most people will remember how the judges screwed up what could have been a great night for boxing. ONce again!
Wish thats the case..like Maracho said great fight...but lets be honest..JMM lost a big money payday...hes more upset at this
