Even H2H I think JMM will have a power edge. I agree though, we will find out soon enough and I'm really looking forward to a great fight too. I definitely think Floyd will win because he has advantages both stylistically and physically, but just because he is the favourite to win in my eyes does not mean I don't think it will be a fascinating, exciting and intriguing spectacle. Marquez is far too good and too proud to go down with a whimper.

That's exactly why I am looking forward to the fight. I'm not convinced it'll be all that competitive, I could be overrating Mayweather whilst simultaneously underrating Marquez, but it'll certainly be fascinating and intriguing to find out on the night.

    Huge Mismatch
It will be very evident on Fight Night. This is just a showcase for Mayweather to look good, nothing more, nothing less...Dont get fooled by all the promotion for this fight. This fight is going to be a one sided affair. Mayweather is promoting it like he is fighting a dangerous opponent. This will be similar to Mayweather vs Gatti, maybe not as bad as that but close. He is fighting a lightweight for ****s sake. I would not be surprised if this ended inside 3 rounds. Pacquiao could of have him out in the 1st round but he weathered the storm... Marquez is a great fighter but he is not even close to Mayweather in this fight in terms of speed, skill, defense and movement.

Talent wise it looks like a great match up. Both fighters are very talented but there is a big size difference. Floyd is just too big for marquez. Everybody saw what floyd did to hatton who is bigger than marquez. If floyd lands clean in marquez face it might be all over.

Just face it both are phenomenal boxers but the size difference will be too much for marquez. The guy got rocked by featherfisted diaz, imagine what a welterweight punch would do to him.

Marquez is one of the best fighters in the world, no doubt.. but he's not a WW and he is past his prime. How many fighters go up 2 weight classes to fight an undefeated(at least on paper), in prime fighter? Marquez has been in too many battles and he's 37 years old. If Pretty Fraud really wanted a challenge, he could have fought Marquez at 135-140, since his fans claim Fraudy is a small WW anyway.

That's pretty much my take on it. I fully expect Floyd to make the most of his advantages and win, but I do think it'll be a very absorbing contest.

When a fighter as skilled as PBF fights a guy like Marquez after a layoff it is a tune up fight. When Marquez gets KOed it will prove he was not the supposed #2 PFP fighter and what a joke P4P rankings are because they are NEVER proven in the ring.

Do you think Marquez is a better fighter at the weights he fights at, further ahead of the pack in his division so to speak, do you think he is better at lightweight than Miguel Cotto is at welterweight or Tomasz Adamek is at cruiserweight?

(PS: Other than Floyd and Vitali, are there any fighters in the world you actually rate highly??)

Exposing yourself as a troll again, stick to Margarito please, that suited you more considering your **** poor knowledge.

Marques is 35 years old and if he's past his prime he wouldn't have recently beat two elite fighters that have never been stopped by KO in Casamayor and Diaz.

Great thread, a lot of people are not giving Marquez a change at beating Mayweather just like when Pacquiao fought DLH(saying he's too small) Marquez is a great fighter and has the tools to beat or give Mayweather a hell of a night.

A lot of people are giving JMM almost as much chance against Floyd, as they gave Pacquaio against Oscar....
