I would rather listen to Fury talk than Wilder. If Fury gets back into shape, looks like he is, he will beat everyone...............
I’d rather listen to Fury talk and watch him in press conferences any day of the week. If Fury was fighting on one channel and Wilder was fighting on another, I know what I’d tune in to.
I think when you start from the premise that Tyson is not the full shilling (not even close) he becomes much more likeable.
Mate, not really sure what's with the response you see people on the forum complain all the time, about matchroom, about AJ hype, about fury, about mismatches, if were honest if people only posted about positive things in boxing no one would have anything to day because boxing fans love to moan. You should probably not post on my thread rather that trying to be a hero
Entertaining personality and talented boxer who's got impressive skills....to a point. His fight with wlad was possibly the worst heavyweight title fight ever.
Fury completely neutralised Wlad in that fight and in no way was it a fluke. Fury was just a lot better than anyone thought. I think his style would be a nightmare for Joshua too. But he’s done enough talking now and will soon be back to show us what he’s got left.
Fury v AJ isn't a repeat of Fury v Klitschko, for one he's going to have to throw more than half a dozen punches a round to beat Joshua. AJ won't be afraid to let his hands go and turn it into a fight unlike Klitschko. If Cunningham and Pajkic can put Fury on his backside, there's no doubt Joshua can
He's become a bit of a myth and the hardcores darling. I say this as a guy who was a fan of him coming up "before it was cool to the hardcores" and i defended him a lot vs all the online hardcores who all said he was a chinny bum up until the klitschko fight. But his actions (or lack of) since that fight have been hella dissapointing and tbh i don't want to hear from or about him until he gets himself relevant again i.e signs a fight vs a top 10 opponent. He's like the ex girlfriend who is the one that got away, who keeps talking about getting back together and building it up and dropping in all the time just to take up space in your head. While Joshua is the girl thats actually right there and the one you should be getting with (strange analogy but there you go)
No, the simple fact is that Tyson Fury IS "the man who beat the man", and he's still younger than Wilder and only slightly older than Joshua. Fury is the man who ended the Klitschko era and opened this new era. That's just a fact. That doesn't mean we all have to recognize him as "the real champion". It's valid to say he's forfeited that title many times over. But it stands to reason that Joshua and Wilder have benefited from Fury ending the Klitschko era, and have benefited from Fury defaulting on this era. Simply put, Fury BELONGS IN this era. The era doesn't belong to him but he ought to at least be a factor. If Wilder or Joshua got him in the ring and beat I'm sure they'd feel they'd tied up a loose end too. The division is so lacking in talented young fighters, it makes sense for fans to want an undefeated lineal champion aged 29 to come back and at least be a factor. Joshua and Wilder have only just recently done anything to surpass Fury anyway, with wins over relevant contenders in Parker and Ortiz. Fury, Joshua and Parker have about 4 relevant wins between them ! Behind all the hype and talk that's the sad truth of it.
This lineal heavyweight champion thing is total BS. If in his first comeback fight Fury walked onto a fluke right hand and got cut and the fight got stopped as a consequence, would all you lineal champion fanboys be declaring part time kebab shop owner Stavros Georgiosious the lineal heavyweight champion of the world?
