Agree with this 100%. I don't see how it is a big achievement either getting battered for most of those 100 fights.
Lots of his losses could have easily been win's ...but when your tagged as a journeyman you already 2-3 points behind on the scorecards before the 1st bell. Boxing isnt even their 1st jobs but respect for him & people like him, just taking late notice phone calls & jumping in the ring and testing the "young up n com'ers" who on the other hand have had like 4-6 weeks ATLEAST preparation! Mate getting punched for pay is an honest profession providing he ain't getting abused physically in the ring ( something he wasn't being last time I saw him fight a few months ago ) or finacially ( fighting for peanuts ) for turds wanting to pack their bill .
He is a smart journeyman, I do not see him getting too hurt. At the end of the season, he probably could reflect on the fact he will be 40 next season, and whether he can continue, but at the moment fair play to him. If he carries on at his current pace, Pete Buckley's 300 fights will be in his sights; in five or so years! Then there is Billy Bird and Len Wickwar...
