Can someone school me on this lightweight. From what little bit I've read about him he sounds like a very slick and fleet footed fighter. Thanks in advance.

Sid Terris was a lanky lighweight who could box and punch, he held wins over such men as
    Goodrich
    Loayzsa
    Kansa
    Dundee
    Hudkins
    Petrolle .
In 1927 he took on his local rival Ruby Goldstein,[ later to become a famous referee].
Goldstein had him down for a count of 9 in the opening round but Sid got up and flattened Ruby.
Both guys had a nemesis in Jimmy Mclarnin ,who stopped Terris in 1 rd and Goldstein in ,I believe 2rds.

Terris was good enough to have been champ , but the competition was pretty fierce at the time.

McVey, great shot of Sid Terris. I was hoping it would be a video of Terris who was considered in his prime, the fastest moving lightweight ever by many. He too, like his rival Ruby Goldstein suffered by "weak chins" ,bad
for them with the likes of the great right hand puncher Jimmy McLarnin..:good
