*sigh* Roy Jones v Lebedev

is just getting ko'd a few times that bad for you in terms of punchyness, brain damage etc.?

id have thought just taking constant blows to the head would be worse, like ali, rather than just getting ko'd a few times, which happens to people in normal likfe not just boxing

even though he has been sparked a few times now he still hasnt really taken that much punishment, probably tarver 1 fight was the worst in terms of taking a lot of shots to the head i guess

 

is lebedev not with warren anymore?

 

I think he gave up his options on him to get Murat and Frenkel over.

He never ventured to Britain when he was prime to face Calzaghe,Benn or Eubank or to Germany to face the lineal Light Heavyweight Champion Dariusz Michalczewski but now he is old,shot and desperate he travels to Australia and Russia when it means absolutely nothing lol.

Wonder how much HBO pay him. Alan Shearer is on 300k a year for talking like a spacker on MOTD once a week so Roy must be getting a fair bit.

 

I have no sympathy for Jones anymore. Hes goin to get ****ed up.

 

I look forward to watching him getting sparked out cold. He's got a sweet gig broadcasting on HBO so he gets zero sympathy from me.

I'm not sure Lebedev punches hard enough to take Jones out quickly...... which means that Roy is in for a prolonged beating.

I know it's kinda underhand but maybe HBO could offer him a long term deal doing the commentary in return for not fighting anymore.

A bit like Warren offered Enzo a job if he packed in :think
