Sign the petition! Cotto-Canelo NEXT!

We dont need a petition. The only reason this fight doesnt happen is if Cotto doesnt want it. Styles make fights and Cotto losing to Trout doesnt mean anything. Cotto still has it and he can beat Canelo. Cotto has NEVER been in a boring fight. Frankly neither has Canelo. These two in the same ring spells FOTY. Mexico Vs Puerto Rico is the best rivalry in boxing. We love it and will buy it no matter what. Those who dont will still watch it at the bar or stream it while the rest of us have a bbq and party with the familia while we enjoy a historic and epic battle!

 

Damn right bro. I'll be happy with that for a 22 year old its a great fight but for a title holder its a **** fight but its not like it matters he won the title from ****ING Hatton, o don't see him as a true champ until he dethrones a guy like trout or takes out 2 high ranked opponents, belts are meaningless specially when everyone calls canelo a paper champ, or not a Tue chanp so stop holding him to high standards. I do hope its trout but will be happy with a cotto bout.

We can tell what will happen. Cotto has been in this type of fight before. Cotto and Canelo come out in round one and Canelo is dominating landing big punches and Cotto lands some right hands and left hooks and is jabbing and people are cheering even as Canelo wins the rounds with his youth and strength. Then the next few rounds it is a give and take with Canelo having the edge more and more as Cotto's face starts to swell. Then Cotto starts to back up more against the ropes and looking weaker and by the 6th or 7th round Canelo starts to bust up Cotto bably who quits on his stool near rounds 8-10. I don't think it is logical to say. Let's watch a fight which will be exciting for a few rounds, yet Cotto gets beaten up for it. We need to do better for boxing. Cotto lost on Sat. As much as the logic is not great I think winning is what should get him another title fight. Trout wins and wins relatively easily on the cards and Cotto gets the big fight?
