Pac's quick straight left, and escaping to the side and away from the opponent as soon as he lands it. Displayed it beautifully against Oscar. Cotto's left-hook to the body and head, is awesome, too.
Pac-high punch output, speed Mosley-speed, bodyshots Jmm-counterpunching,combos Ward-inside game, abilty to adapt, jab to body Donaire-check left hook, speed Glenn johnson-pressure applies to opponents Jermain taylor-jab Miguel cotto-body attack but wish he'd continue with that Klitchko-ko power, ability to use their reach and size
I actually like that move from Pac, he better be careful taking his back foot off the ground though when doing it vs a good counter puncher
Morales: His uppercuts in close, his jab & straight right hand are all beautiful punches, not so much these days but in his prime I loved his footwork, he was rarely if ever caught off balance whether delivering or receiving punches. I love the way in one fight he can be a pressure boxer & break an opponent down thats trying to survive & in the next outbox a pressuring opponent on the back foot using his counterpunching ability..... & lets not forget how he responds when his opponent lands a big punch to his chin... does he fold ? not a chance, he turns it into world war 3 ... thats why I love the guy, a true legend. :good
Ali of the 60s: footwork, jab & combinations. Pep: footwork, changing of angles, sliding underneath & spinning opponents. Chavez: left to the body, straight right to the head, combinations to body & head, slipping & rolling with punches inside.
Very basic answer, but young Tommy Hearns' simple 1-2 could be a wrecking ball at times. His right cross was devastating. I used to try to throw Roy Jones type shots from the waist on the heavy bag,but all I got were sore hands, truly a unique shot. Hagler is often thought of as a pressure fighter, but he was far better when the opponent brought the fight to him,and his southpaw jab and counterpunching was fabulous. Ray Leonard's ability to lead with his right hand was only one of several signature skills which made him for me,the complete boxer. I used to love the way pre 2005 Morales could punch from angles, though he's still not bad at rolling and countering.
