In light if Juanama's recent KO loss, and Now silakh, im pretty sure these guys are making some noise in the glass jawed community, so does Silakh make the list?

To be fair he took quite a lot of clean shots before he folded.

ye but according to some posters on here he was a well known glass jawed fraud in the amateurs? which basically means he is destined for a spot.

He got caught during an exchange with a short and sharp right hand he didn't see coming. Could be a suspect chin, but it mostly looked like terrible survival skills from Silakh.

That's what he gets for not putting his best effort in. It was clear to see from the early rds that Sillakh was looking past this guy, and not fighting at 100%, maybe to get some rounds, sharpen his CPing, or whichever reason.

Seems like when he went to step on the gas in the 8th, got caught, he almost didn't believe this kid was on him. That's the breaks for a guy who lets his opponent feel safe and like he's in the fight.

He didn't look especially wobbly until those last few shots, and he got right up, dazed, but cmon......he'd just taken 10 or 12 hard shots.

It may have been another case for the standing 8:think May have stayed his careers execution.

IMO.....he'll be back....more focused and better than before.

I was shocked watching the end of that fight. I thought he was better than what he showed. He looked as though he had no idea what a clinch was. From now on, everyone he faces will be throwing right hands at him all night. He is really a sucker for that punch.

His chin could be a little suspect but as previous posters have stated experience, instincts and attitude played a part.
I remember Campillo getting flattened by Uzlekov (or whatever his name is) a few years back. Now he's one of the best guys in the division. Time will tell.

He made his point fine, and that is that you are one of these morons who just cannot seem to accept that a fighter has Chin issues. It's always "he was off-balance, didn't see it coming, had on the wrong socks, didn't hold his mouth the right way, forgot to sacrifice three goats before the fight" blah blah blah. No, the only problem is that Sillakh cannot take a punch. He has a Glass Jaw and that is a Fact.

As for him making the rankings, I do not know, we will see when the Chincheckers send me their individual April Rankings and I add up the scores.

They're a bunch of pricks with a very weird fetish who think everyone is denying the existence of glass chins. Someone gets knocked out and they act like ****ing Nostadamus. Putting them on ignore is the best option as a serious conversation with them isn't going to happen.

You and others in this thread are trying to deny or downplay the central importance of punch resistance - as this Sillakh fight shows. Here he was winning the fight easily, but because he cannot take a good punch, he lost.

Chins matter, denier - accept it.

I don't think so. Silakh wasn't one punch KO'd or anything. He ate a good shot, and then ate a few more good clean shots, before even going down. He wasn't KO'd. The ref didn't even give him a count, which he should have in my opinion. Silakh was trying to get back up.
