I didn't know about this fight, just caught it on YT, worth a watch. I remember Vlasov from the Ramirez fight and Sillakh used to get mad hype. [YT]watch?v=UQchVTA8sFQ[/YT]
it was one of the Kirk league matches last week, and most predicted Vlasov would beat him. Didn't expect it to be this quick though
No one gave Sillakh mad hype. Anyone with eyes that can see knew from the start that he had a very very very weak chin and would not compete at the highest of levels.
It was his offensive flow that generated the hype. And yeah, he was highly hyped by more than a couple ppl, and most had at least moderate expectations of his career, but getting stopped by Grachev was the first sign to most ppl on this sight.
Fromn the start??? I for one didnt see it. Sillahk is a very talented and well rounded fighter. His big weak spot is his chin.He is still good enough to beat a lot of fighters in his weight division but his chin will always be his downfall against the big punches and the elite boxers of his weight division. To be frank and fair I for my part really had great hopes for him in the early stage of his career.I was flabbergusted when he lost to Gradovich but still hoped that it was a kind of day off.Can happen to any boxer, even the best ones out there. Admittingly,I was wrong.Neverthless,I very much doubt that anyone could see that he had a glass chin from the very start of his pro career:roll:
