Roy Jones Jr. vs Anderson Silva

    or

Roy Jones Jr. vs Markus Beyer

Which would you prefer? Would you buy either PPV?

Silva is an MMA champion, Beyer is at least a boxer with experience, good fight for Jones.

Silva would just be some kind of exhibition show I guess.

Silva is regarded as the number1 p4p mma guy, and called out Roy Jones last week or something

    That's great...
He should lie on the ground affectionately grabbing other guys and keep away from boxing. This would be a side show.

This would be a 10 round match with boxing rules in a squared ring.

I watched the Beyer-fight last night. He is still good, but nothing special. Jones Jr. at ringside said he really liked what he saw. What I think he saw was a beatable future opponent, and which boxer doesn't like that sight.

Jones vs Silva could be fun but I would not pay for it.

10 rounds? That's not needed. Jones would finish him in less than two rounds. There is a HUGE discrepency in the level of a top mma guy and top level boxer's punching ability.

Beyer in him prime was only an average fighter and paper champ at best. Now that he is completely shot and washed up it represents an absolutely meaningless fight for RJJ legacy or even his preparation for a bigger fights in the future.

Anderson Silva is one of the best pfp mma fighters in the world he prob is one of the best standup fighters in MMA he has great kicks knees hands . But in a pure boxing match against Roy Jones most MMA fans would agree he would not win. I'm surprised he called out RJJ. He would be able to compete with a boxer but not at Roy's level that's for sure.
