It's not on. Condit/GSP is a 50/50 fight at best for GSP, I reckon. He's coming back after a LONG time out of the cage, he's got all the pressure of fighting at home, and his opponent is a well-rounded, highly intelligent fighter at the top of his game.

Good that it's looking like a realistic possibility now more than it ever has before, but that fight is a long, LONG way away.

Yeah he s coming off a long lay off through injury but condit has been out for a while himself he s not exactly been active has he.
I know what your saying thou it could be a tricky one for rush, it will be typical of mma/boxing when your expecting a huge fight next that one of the fighters involved gets beat suddenly!!

I'll believe it when I see them in the cage trying to punch eachother.

But good sweeps and a very active guard game. Few guys throw as many strikes from their back than Condit.

Condit lost to Kampman and was ten seconds away from losing to Macdonald. He's not on GSP's level. GSP takes him down and does what he did to Penn, except Condit won't quit. GSP wide UD.

Oh, and then Silva KOs GSP. Way to long, way too close to perfect striking. Worst possible match up for GSP. I just hope me can make 170 again after he puts on the muscle to fight at 180.

What if gsp can put silva on his back though?? it will be interesting to see if silva can stop his shoot?
If silva defends gsp's first takedown attempt then rush is in for a early night!!

Maybe. But I don't expect to see GSP just walk in there and win the first round easily. I'll be impressed if he rolls over Condit. That's a serious injury that forced him to take a lot of time off. He's coming back as the older, rusty, worried-about-injury version of GSP.

I recall scoring the Kampmann fight for Condit, and the Rory fight just showed that Condit gets stronger as a fight progresses. GSP is going to have to fight the full 25 minutes against Condit.

Yep, I was impressed by both men in Rory-Condit. Condit showed tremendous poise and presence of mind to come back in that last round. Rory won the first two rounds, but when he REALLY needed to stand up and TAKE the fight, Condit beat Rory's green ass and knocked the crap out of him. Condit pulled it out of the fire. He is an intelligent fighter and he will not be a pushover for GSP.

CC is going to outclass him, and probably leg kick his ass into submission.

If it happens, will it still be for Anderson's belt? Because it should be since it's within the MW limit.
