Dont get me wrong, George will have the better of the ground game here. Point is Condit is no slouch himself and will be training smartly for this likely hood and already has a decent base being on his back to start with.

I said months ago, Pre Injury that I fancy Condit to stop him late after being on his back for the majority of the fight and Im still feeling the same here

it is irrelevant because Penn and Condit arent fighting in a Gi, and probably never will. And you are missing the point, which is your forte it seems...Condit kicks hard and fast. He doesnt have to hit leg kicks to avoid the TD for 5 rounds to win, but the more he lands, the less effective GSP's shoot and movement in the stand up will be, effectively with one weakened leg already...

    :yep

And just how many leg kicks did Thiago Alves throw and land ??

You dont see the points, thats your issue

St Pierre has a knack of picking leg kicks, and once he's done this once or twice, people tend to stop throwing them for fear of being taken down " AGAIN " , Jake Shields being the exception to the rule as he wanted to grapple from his back

Jose Aldo is probably the only man in MMA right now who i would fancy to repeatedly land leg kicks on Georges St Pierre

Condits leg kicks are pretty sound, but so where Thiago's, you dont throw leg kicks at St Pierre for 5 rounds, he doesnt allow it

I can smell an avatar bet coming on here :bart

Just like Condit isnt BJ Penn...he isnt Thiago Alves either. Thiago has looked horrible against everyone he couldnt kod in the 1st two rounds, Carlos is a tougher nut to crack and will deal with being taken down and control much better.

I just rewatched that fight yesterday. That should have been a draw if it had gone to the cards. Condit beat McDonald's ass from pillar to post in the third. If that wasn't a 10-8 round, I don't know what is.

I had it 1-1 going into the third. Rogans commentary in the 1st round of that fight gave a completely different spin on what actually happened

On my card would have been a Condit D if it went that long with the 3rd being a 10-8 round

3 weeks notice actually , after St Pierre Alves had clearly lost something

The original point, a technique is a technique it doesnt change, a jab is a jab, a leck kick is a leg kick, a double leg is a double leg

The technique is identical, some execute better than others, to simply sum it up by saying Carlos Condit is not Thiago Alves when actually debating how Condit will land leg kicks where Alves didnt or ill rephrase that, couldnt !!

Is absolutely base less, Condit will not be allowed to kick St Pierre's legs without visiting the mat, or eating some leg kicks of his own, his all round MMA and muay thai ability isnt good enough for him to consistently catch St Pierre with leg kicks the way he did with Diaz

Ill slightly rephrase that again, St Pierre is too good for Condit to control the fight with leg kicks

You really need to learn to read if you think that Ive posted leg kicks with be the key to the fight rather than a factor the later it goes...

If you think this fight is going to be decided because Penn will beat Condit in a Gi then good luck to you

    Oh dear :patsch

But i can see the funny side to that comment

So 2 of your 3 para's contain the word leg kicks, and your lambasting me for suggesting you think Condit's main weapon will be his leg kicks :huh, just how exactly do you see this fight playing out because im yet to understand just where and how you see Condit beating St Pierre
