Striking St Pierre's stand up has plateau'd while the remainder of the division has gotten stronger, i mean Jake Shields was winning exchanges on the feet against St Pierre who was once considered an elite striker, he's no slouch on the feet but i give Condit an advantage there Condit has extreme mental toughness and versatility too, St Pierre when he has had to dig deep has never looked truly comfortable in doing so, where as Condit seems to just love a dog fight They are the areas i give Carlos the edge in

Shields won exchanges because of his dangerous grappling ability. Not because he is a better striker. This will be the same reason that CC's striking will be nullified for the most part. CC also has never faced anyone with a jab like GSP's. HIs striking advantage will be minimal, and will only get him taken down for 5 rounds.
GSP got outstruck by Shield because he had 1 eye that couldn't see....thing like that happen when you get poke 5 time in the same eye !
