First I want to say I do not like silva. He is a cocky ass hat. But you have to give him credit. He is a good damn fighter. I just dont see anyone beating him

Tell me if any of these statements is wrong

Everyone knows that GSP cannot KO silva.

But we also know that Silva can and will KO GSP. He has the power and speed to do so.

We also know that GSP cannot Submit Silva
    But Silva can submit GSP.

In a stand up, Silva would own GsP.

I dont see how GSP can win. What is he gonna do Lay and Pray??

There is only one way that GSP can win. Lay and pray, or GnP. Which is very hard to do. Watch all his fights.

So, we have that Silva can beat GSP anyway possible. you have to ask yourself. how can GsP win? Im not saying its impossible im just saying that when u compare everything. Silva comes out on top

    Power goes to Silva
    Speed Goes to Silva
    Better Striker Silva
    Better BBJ Silva
    Silva can GnP also

If they were to fight i would root for GsP but i dont see any of the tools he has that could win. NONE.

The thing about silva is he always comes out with something you neer seen before. Who else has done that front kick like that. or a uppercut elbow. I think people are so in love with GsP they refuse to think he could lose.

I do like silva in this fight. I could see him winning by KO or tko however what makes you think that he could submit gsp? GSP has fought some of the best bjj guys and didn't get submitted.

His loss to hughes was a long time ago when he was still new. Since then he has never been submitted and he has face the likes of bj penn(bjj). Bj is a better bjj fighter than silva.

Unless gsp gets careless, i can't see him getting submitted.

I won't go through all if it right now, because that's a lot to chop up, but GSP has a better chance of KO'ing Silva then Silva does of submitting GSP.

    Who has GsP KO?
    who has silva KO?

    who has GsP submitted?
    who has Silva submitted?

come on now. Think! and compare

People keep saying that silva weakness is his wrestling. It is NOT weak!! at all

Wrestling alone is NOT good enough to beat silva. get that through your head people

this is just talk and it means nothing, at the elite level both these guys are at, you can't be sure of anything. GSP is 21-2, Silva 28-4, both almost flawless.

won't go in details as there was already 2 threads about this subject and i have no clue why you started a third.

I want GSP fans to be delusional or actually believe he can defeat Silva. Otherwise it wouldn't be a superfight and the match wouldn't materialize if nobody wants to see it. What else would we look forward to? Silva vs. Bisping?

You forgot GSP > Silva for heart.
and anyone can lose, but your big mistake is thinking silva can't lose. youll change your tune when they meet at MSG in the fall.

I'm not so sure about that. GSP tapped to strikes against Serra. Silva survived a humiliating 5 round beating only to win in the last two minutes. Silva has heart.

It's hard to see GSP takeing Silva down and keeping him down to win on points over 5 rounds.

Thats the only way he can win.

He can't KO or submit Silva.

He can't hurt him at all.

Silva has got to catch him at some point and if you look at the Serra fight you know that if Silva catches him and hurts him just once he'll put GSP away.

I'd prefer to see Silva go to 205 and fight both Shogun and Bones.

I dont have a problem with GSP turning down a Silva fight and Silva moving to 205, while GSP moves to 185 and fights the guy's there and fights someone else for the 185b titles.

I've wanted to see Silva at 205 for ages though and even at heavyweight.

Let's see: Silva is bigger, faster, stronger, has the better striking and submissions. GSP has stronger takedowns but loses out in every other category. If GSP ever gets in the ring with Silva he will be punished severely for it.

How can you possibly hold this as fact? Have they ever fought? Have they ever rolled? Have you seen something I haven't?

It is unlikely that GSP will KO silva, given his previous performances, but everything else is just bold assertion.

If you think this, you haven't watched ALL his fights.

    http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Georges-St-Pierre-3500

How can you quantify their speed and/or BJJ skills?

Honestly, although I hold the opinion that Silva will win (because he's alot bigger), your post is a mess of assertions with no justification.. honestly it's bad enough that I would reccommend you don't have children.

If a roided Chael Sonnen can own Silva...(apart from the submission...Silva was in deep **** during the entire fight)...

And if a "can" like Takase managed to do it..
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnLvJypgkLU[/ame]

I don't think it's "mission impossible" for GSP...

Would you say that GSP's ground control is better than Sonnen's or not ?

Having said that , GSP isn't perfect...he did lose against Hughes & Serra.

But GSP's competition is way better than Silva's...(but that doesn't mean much since both are in a different weight category so it's hard to compare)
