it was as good as a KO. boxing in general one punch can end a fight. its all relative a 135 is weaker meaning less resistance while being 240 give some cussion. thats the whole point of weight divisions

Wlad has been bounced all over the ring by Journeymen, let me name a few for you, Williamson, Pannel, Brewster, Sanders, all nobodies until Wlad either got knocked out by them or hit the canvas from there blows. Khans chin makes Wlad's chin jealous.

Horrible thread. No similarities whatsoever other than that they are both dudes...

I don't know whether to laugh at this or just shake my head and move on.

The similarities between Wlad and Khan end at "they're both human beings"

Anything other than that is reaching.

You call Brewster and Sanders journeymen? I would give them a good chance of Koing the man in your avatar.

They beat Vlad, Sam Peter didn't, what does that make him?

Move on. Only a ****ing dumbass that has no understand of the fight game would use Pannel and TOS knockdowns as evidence of chin issues. They have no bearing on Wlad's chin. It was purely horrible boxing technique of Wlad letting his feet and body get way out of balance. Something ATG's very rarely let happen but Wlad was the poster child of before he finally ****ing dropped Sdunasuck.

The only person that 'bounced wlad all over the ring' was Sanders. A HUGE puncher. Wlad kept getting up though. Brewster?! Wlad was all over him like a bad rash until he gassed for whatever reason. He then hit Wlad with two big left hooks that didn't even wobble him. That is not a chin as bad as Khan's.

so wlad wasn't an olympic medalist, KO'd by a journeymen, a good prospect as amateur. wobbled by average fighters and had to improve his defence by hiding his suspect chin and being more cautious. remind you of a certain amir khan. :hat

Sanders is no world beater, but he is definitely not a journeyman.

Wobbled by average fighters? Have you ever seen a Wlad fight? Wlad has never wobbled in his life. Even when he was blitzed against Sanders, he just kept falling. Dude drops, doesn't wobble. That is a surefire red flag that is has more to do with other factors than just chin alone.

Let's see here. Both Wlad and Khan do have a Glass Jaw. But, has Wlad ever been knocked spark out in 58 seconds like Khan was? I do not think so. Wlad has never been counted out. Khan's Glass Jaw is on a whole nother level when it comes to Glass Jaws. A term needs to be made for it. Wet paper is being to generous.

They both were journeymen before they beat Wlad, Sanders wasnt even actively boxing at the time, and had 2 knockout losses to Nate Tubbs and Rahman, he was called a few weeks before the fight because every other fighter turned down the cahnce to fight Wlad in Germany in 03. Brewster on the other hand also was fighting lame competition, and already had 2 losses to both Eitenne and Shufford.
