This was a hideous mismatch. Young was quite faded and got this shot soley on beating a drugged out shell of Aaron Pryor. Brown took care of business quickly, as expected. The IBF 147 lb rankings were pretty mediocre and Brown didn't face a decent challenge between the first Trice fight and the Blocker unification fight- a span of three years. He was not aligned with a major promoter during his IBF 147 reign. He stagnated during his absolute prime.
